Well within a two-week period we resigned from our posts here in DC, packed up our things into a 15 x 10 storage unit and are now finalizing our preparations for a three-month journey into Southeast Asia, China and Japan. Once we get back we'll be moving to Russ' hometown of Danville, PA. It's a big change to say the least, and we are looking forward to everything that awaits. But for right now, we are excited about travelling to the opposite side of the globe and immersing ourselves into a foreign world with new people and new cultures. We'll updated this blog along the way (at hotels / internet cafes when available) so you can follow along.

I'm so excited that you're visiting the home of ancestors! Your Ong brothers and sisters will pray for you and await your safe return. Please indulge in ridiculous amounts of sushi and thai food, taking pictures of every memorable dish so that we can drool with envy. God willing, they will have broccoli available at every restaurant so that you don't have a panic attack! Love you both, miss you both and can't wait for you both to be 3 hours closer!!! Hurray!
